The news is downright depressing. Ukraine and Russia are blaming each other for undelivered natural gas, 40% of Europe’s supply.
Japan blames US business practice for the global financial crisis, and they may have a point.
The recession is thought by some (Eric Rosengren) to be worse than expected originally.
Not sure if this is good news or bad, but last November US consumer credit dropped by almost 8 billion dollars. It surely does not point to optimism for a quick recovery.
Asian stocks are losing value together with Wall Street, and US unemployed increased by half a million, all in a single month.
All that and–as of July–I will lose my job too.
At least it is Friday. I will do my part to stimulate the local economy this evening, expanding demand in the bar and restaurant sector.
